Hereunder I am going to share with you some more English Expressions. Try to read them several times and use them, wherever possible, in your daily spoken English:

  1. The wind’s blowing hard = Anginnya kencang.
  2. She’s blooming = Dia sedang hamil tua.
  3. He had a blowout = Dia mengalami pecah ban.
  4. The breakup was a blow to him. = Perceraian itu merupakan pukulan baginya.
  5. Don’t bother. = Jangan repot-repot.
  6. Don’t let this bother you too much. = Sudahlah, masalah ini jangan terlalu dijadikan beban pikiranmu.
  7. Something’s bothering me. = Hatiku nggak enak.
  8. It’s a reak time. = Waktunya istirahat.
  9. Someone broke into their house. = Rumah mereka kebobolan maling.
  10. Their house was broken into. = Rumah mereka dibobol maling.
  11. They broke the rule. = Mereka melanggar aturan.
  12. They broke up. = Mereka putus.
  13. I’m broke. = Aku lagi nggak punya uang sama sekali.
  14. He broke her promise. = Dia melanggar janjinya = Dia tidak menepati janji.
  15. In brief. = Singkatnya.
  16. A brief report. = Laporan singkat.
  17. I was brought up by my grandma. = Aku diasuh dan dibesarkan oleh nenekku.  
  18. What brings you here? = Ada keperluan apa kamu ke sini?
  19. The bulbs needs replacing.= Bohlamnya perlu diganti.
  20. Don’t beat around the bush. = Bicaranya jangan ber-putar-putar. = Jangan bicara bertele-tele.
