Words – And Their Functions (Last Part — PREPOSITIONS)

26 Aug

Prepositions are all those words, usually little ones, like:

to, in, at, from, by, before, etc.

I have to assure you that you don’t have to worry too much about prepositions as you will learn them automatically when you find them in sentences you are reading.  Your feeling will tell youself  about it. We sometimes use them for place, for time and in abstract ideas.

  • in his beg
  • behind the tree
  • through the window
  • on your desk
  • before three o’clock
  • in September
  • during the night
  • from Monday to Thursday
  • in tune
  • a difference to your sltudies
  • information about the program
  • a third of the total
I am going to provide you with some reading  materials to make you
more familiar to identify prepositions
